Busy Bee Promotions is an international guerrilla marketing firm specializing in food promotions. The project focuses on tasteful renovations and necessary code upgrades to an existing loft building built in 1847. The building, The Hive on Hubbard, is a 20,000+ sf vintage timber loft located in the Kinzie Manufacturing District. HUSarchitecture’s full service design and permitting services helped convert this abandoned warehouse into a mixed office building. HUSarchitecture met both the building owner’s and the city’s needs to create a three-story office space that hosts seven office suites and a luxury event space complete with a commercial kitchen to bring contemporary cooking demonstrations to their clientele and surrounding community. In partnership with Rehabitate.
