2026 HUSARCH Call for Artists
The HUSARCH Inaugural Artist Call: Bridging Creative Practice and Climate Action
At HUSARCH, we view the built environment as an opportunity to improve community health and climate resilience. To further this mission, we are launching our first Artist Call - an initiative designed to engage the community in our overall mission to mitigate climate change.
This program marks a return to our roots. One of our previous office spaces hosted artists as part of Pilsen's art walks, and today we are bringing that spirit back with an environmental focus!
The Opportunity:
We invite Chicago-based artists of any medium to apply. We are looking for an artist to provide a voice to the climate challenges we all face - whether through the lens of hope, urgency, or resilience.
Selected artist(s) will receive dedicated exhibition space, hosted open houses and artists talks, negotiated space for creation and storage as needed, and more.
Applications due Friday, May 8th
